Why I Don't Apologize for Working Weekends (And Neither Should You)
Plus... Single ticket sales for my Q2 event end Sunday night!

Hey friend hey!
So Alexander hit me with this brutal observation last week: "You hate weekends."
My first reaction was complete denial. Who hates weekends? That's like hating babies or Elle Cardova (seriously check her out.)
But then he explained: "You literally don't know what to do with yourself when you're not working."
Damn. Call me out, why don't you?
But honestly, he’s right. I turn into someone else when I don't have a project to tackle or a problem to solve. I've started going to the gym on weekend mornings just to burn off some of that restless energy.
I'm turning 40 this year (!) and I've finally stopped feeling guilty about working when other people are taking the day off. Call it: GROWTH.
As founders, we're not built like everyone else. That nagging voice in your head when you're "supposed" to be relaxing? That's not your conscience. It's just social programming.
I love the pressure of having a lot on my plate. I live for that feeling when I've checked every box on my to-do list. It's not about workaholism. It's about the satisfaction of building something meaningful on my own terms.
Some people unwind by watching Netflix. I personally like to read an entire book I saw on BookTok in one sitting.
But this isn't about "hustle culture." I hate that phrase and mentality. The most successful founders I know follow their energy, not the calendar. They work when they're fired up and rest when they're depleted, regardless of what day or time it is.
Your weekend productivity isn't weird. Your brain just doesn't shut off on command and frankly, that's why you're building something most people only dream about.
We’ll talk about this next Wednesday in my Q2 Kickoff and how to find your flow in the new creator economy. Because the internet gods know there are SO MANY creators right now. Literally everyone and their mom, dog, baby, and houseplant has a social following. Like WHAT?
If you want to join this epic gathering, now's the time. And if you're thinking about joining the community, you'll get access to this event PLUS all the other goodies for an amazing price.
Here's to building something bigger,
Brittany
P.S. In case you need giant CTAs…
